Our bonds have been used in some the highest man made vacuum ever produced (-14 Torr) and in most difficult to seal applications (super fluidic helium). Often our EXW bond tensile strengths can exceed the weaker of the two materials. Our explosion bonds also have a natural wave that can be used in increase the surface area which increases strength and heat transfer across the bond. Our diffusion bonds are able to bond net finished machined components with very little distortion or deformation.
